The Sea and I

The Sea and I is a children’s book inspired by the topic of plastic in the ocean. The book is meant to encourage the younger generation to be more cautious of the environment and to be more mindful of the importance of recycling. 

I wanted to make the idea of recycling seem fun so I made it almost like a game, similar to that of collecting shells at the beach. I think this makes the concept of recycling seem much more enjoyable and also brings across the issues the environment faces in a less daunting and frightening way.
