Designed for Falmouth Wunderkammer

This piece was illustrated to be part of the Falmouth Wunderkammer website which is an online showcase for final year students. The theme of the showcase is the cabinet of curiosities.

For my piece I wanted to create an illustration that demonstrated my interest in young audience. I felt inspired by the idea of magic in the woods and imagination. I remember in my own childhood when playing outside that I would often see faces in the trees and wanted to explore the idea of the trees being characters within the forest environment. The illustration represents the wonder and magic of nature and childhood imagination.
