Murder Most Unladylike 

This book cover was designed as an entry for the children's category for the Penguin Design Awards. The book is a detective mystery set in the 1930's following the two main characters of Hazel and Daisy as they navigate their investigation into the murder of one of their teachers. The book is the first in the Murder Most Unladylike franchise. 

As the series is part of a series the cover and spine also feature a series logo that would be able to be used across the entire book franchise. The limited colour palette also lends itself to working as part of a series as similar limited palettes could be used across the other books.
